Skurka Aerospace was formed in December 2004 to buy the assets of Skurka Engineering, founded in 1950. Skurka Aerospace Inc. has achieved advantages in design, development, and manufacturing of customized electro-magnetic equipment. Which includes; Specialized A.C and D.C electric fans, blowers, speed transducers, starter generators and tachometers for military vehicles, commercial aircraft, antenna drive systems, naval ships systems, and space systems.
Our California facility consists of approximately 70,000 square feet of floor space. Our Wichita repair facility consists of approximately 10,000 square feet of floor space. Presently there are over 150 employees. The Skurka team is made up of the most highly trained and qualified people in the motor business today, and is continuously improving state-of-the-art design and manufacturing techniques so as to better serve its customers and industry through continuous improvement in both engineering and manufacturing with AS9100: 2004 / IS0 9001: 2008 certification.  The
end result involves usage in equipment such as: Radar Ground/Airborne,
computer drive systems, Specialty Blowers for pressure as well as vacuum
Space Vehicles, Satellites and all types of Aircraft. Skurka Aerospace
Inc. has contributed in many areas requiring motor power. Some of those
are: Infrared, radar ground/airborne, aircraft fuel pump drives,
hydraulic pump drives, inverter-motor drives, fire control systems, starter-generators, and
cryogenics.Skurka Aerospace Inc. is recognized for quality workmanship and excellence in design, development and manufacture of highly reliable, lightweight, high performance motors with designed gearboxes, clutches, brakes, fans, blowers, speed transducers and tachometer generators for aircraft and aerospace industries. As a result most aircraft utilize Skurka products. Our complete engineering capability allows us to understand and to custom design equipment to meet your specific needs. Long established enterprise in handling custom designs leads us to explore creative design concept while balancing new approaches with traditional designs. We are proud of our products and workmanship in the defense of our country for land, air, sea, and space.  Manufacturing

performance. Skurka Aerospace Inc. has placed strong emphasis on
new product development. We have taken a proactive approach to
our customer's needs and strive to provide world-class design products.Skurka Aerospace Inc. continuously challenges its employees to reach new levels of achievement and customer satisfaction. On July 01, 2005 Skurka Aerospace acquired the Motor Division of Eaton Aerospace. This division was originally the motor group of EEMCO which started in 1942 and produced custom electric motors designed for commercial aircraft actuators, pump drives and APU engine starters. The Burbank, CA plant has been closed and relocated to our Camarillo facility. On May 05, 2006 Skurka Aerospace Inc. acquired Electra-Motion. They had been designing and manufacturing custom fractional and integral horsepower electric motors and related sub-assemblies since 1979. Electra-Motion Products have supported special needs for defense, medical and commercial aircraft markets. The Monrovia, CA plant was closed in August 2006 and integrated into our Camarillo facility. On July 01, 2009 Skurka Aerospace, Inc. acquired the Starter-Generator Business of Aircraft Parts Corporation. They had been designing and manufacturing custom starter-generators for helicopters, business jets, turbo-prop, and other aerospace / defense platforms. The Holtsville, NY facility was closed in September, 2009 and integrated into our Camarillo Facility. |
